About Lizzytish

I originally trained in Three Dimensional Crafts at Brighton University and became fascinated with plastics and their qualities. By combing these qualities with the texture and strength of wood I have created products that are both practical and pleasing to the eye.

I have always loved collecting jewellery and hate to put it away where I am unable to see it. Over the years my collection of necklaces and earrings has grown substantially and the storage technique of shoving them in a box was not really adequate. Items would get tangled and more often than not I would struggle to find jewellery that I knew I had and really wanted to wear!

I began to draw up some suitable designs for hangers, and finally settled on the ones listed on this site. They encapsulate aspects of design using traditional (wood) and modern (plastic) materials that I enjoy working with.

I am always looking for new challenges and to work with new and innovative materials. Over the years I have undertaken individual commissions for clients.
